If they have had positive experiences with your sports organization, they will most likely be more than happy to spread the word to friends, neighbors, and colleagues. Ask for Feedback
The work you put in after the final whistle is just as important as the work leading up to the next season. Surveys can be a powerful tool, and it is an easy way for members to provide direct feedback. It’s a win-win: everyone feels like they’re being heard, and their responses can draw attention to areas of improvement. You can even highlight these changes in your marketing for next season. Applications like Google Forms can be used for online surveys instead of handing out paper. This means they can submit responses through your site, and it comes to you nice and neat!
Own a Website
The biggest obstacle to overcome in bringing new people to your sports organization is making them aware of your existence. If you don’t have a website, you essentially don’t exist to a large chunk of the population. In the past, posting flyers on telephone poles around town did the trick. Today, you need to have a web presence. Your competitors probably do, which means they are likely grabbing the attention of the 68% of adults who surf the internet on their smartphone (up from 35% in 2011). Once you have a website, you can make the joining process simple by adding features like online registration.
