Dayton Nets 2016 Information and Fees
The Dayton Nets all volunteer staff (board members, coaches and community partners) commit to our youth during an exciting and challenging four month season of competitive sports.
The Nets also provides youth with positive role models where concepts such as teamwork, cooperation, goal setting, conflict resolution, enhancing trust and tolerance are learned...regardless of race, physical stature or level of ability.
The Nets will play in several tournaments throughout Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana. Players are responsible for all travel expenses (hotels, meals, transportation).
In 2016, grades 3-8 fees will remain $300.00 for returning players, $350.00 for new team members. This covers team entry fees for a minimum of six tournaments or four tournaments plus the Kingdom Sports Center league, player uniform and shooting shirt. 9th grade will be $400.00. Fees for grades 10-11 will be $350.00 for returning players, $400 for new team members. Uniforms can not be issued nor can a player participate in any tournament without payment. The Nets provide "sponsor letters" verifying our non-profit status for those wishing to solicit donations toward his/her player costs. The fee per player does not completely fund the needs of the teams and is one of the lowest in the Dayton area. The Nets have set the cost as low as possible to allow as many players to participate as possible. To address this deficit, the Dayton Nets hold a Monte Carlo-Fish Fry fund raiser and presents a Pre-National Tournament. Parents will be asked to help staff these events.
